On the morning of  February 21, at Cai Lan opened industrial area, Viet nam ocean shipping agency - Quang Ninh branch (VOSA Quang Ninh) solemnly held the opening ceremony of agricultural products warehouse and received the decision to establish Cai Lan Logistics Center.

VOSA Quang Ninh received the decision to establish Cai Lan Logistics Center. Attending the cenemony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Long- Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Do Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of central and local departments and investment partners of domestic and foreign units.

The project to build agricultural storehouses is part of VOSA Quang Ninh's business cooperation program with Bunge Group (USA) to implement logistics, loading and unloading, storage and distribution of animal food. The total area of agricultural storage is 6,500 m2. The approved value of the project is 45 billion VND. This is also the largest agricultural storehouse in the North. So far, VOSA Quang Ninh owns 50,000m2 of general cargo yard; 20,000m2 of specialized goods storage. All are adjacent to Cai Lan seaport and has been licensed by the General Department of Customs to become a concentrated domestic customs clearance place only at Cai Lan port area

Along with the agricultural storage warehouse deploit, the establishment of Cai Lan Logistics Center- VOSA Quang Ninh will complete the logistics services scale, contributing to the successful implementation of the economic development strategy of Quang Ninh province

Mr. Do Thong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee handed over the Investment Decision to the representative of VOSA Quang Ninh.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Thong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognized and appreciated the results that VOSA Quang Ninh has achieved over the time, making an important contribution to the local economic development strategy. Mr.Vice Chairman suggested, in the coming time, VOSA Quang Ninh should continue to study investment, strengthen cooperation with investors to develop services at Cai Lan port, make Cai Lan port become modern seaport, meeting the maximum requirements for large-scale goods transfer activities.

On this occasion, on behalf of provincial leaders, Mr Do Thong urged investors to actively participate in learning and investing in Quang Ninh. On the local side, it is committed to creating favorable conditions for investors to participate.

Also at the opening ceremony, Mr. Do Thong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee handed over the investment certificate to the representative of VOSA Quang Ninh.
